ADHD Assessment & Diagnosis Services and Fees

Getting an ADHD diagnosis can be a life-changing step toward understanding yourself and moving forward with confidence. Here are just some of the benefits clients often experience after being assessed and diagnosed.

Benefits of Getting an ADHD Diagnosis

  • Clarity & Understanding
Finally, make sense of your experiences, challenges, and strengths, and understand how ADHD has shaped your life.

  • Relief & Validation
Know that what you’ve been struggling with has a name — and that it’s not just “laziness” or “not trying hard enough.”

  • Informed Next Steps
With a diagnosis, you can make informed choices about support options, including coaching, workplace or university adjustments, or medical treatment.

  • Access to Appropriate Support
A diagnosis can help you access workplace accommodations, academic support, and other resources you may be entitled to.

  • Improved Self-Compassion
Understanding your ADHD can help reduce self-criticism and enable you to approach your challenges with greater kindness toward yourself.

  • Better Communication with Others
Having a diagnosis makes it easier to explain your needs to family, friends, employers, and healthcare providers.

  • A Path Forward
Rather than guessing or feeling stuck, you’ll have a clearer idea of what changes and strategies can help you thrive.

Professional ADHD Assessment & Diagnosis

If you suspect you may have ADHD, a professional assessment is an important first step towards understanding your experiences and accessing the right support. I offer comprehensive diagnostic assessments for adults, including an in-depth clinical interview, evidence-based screening tools, and a detailed written report with personalised recommendations.

Each assessment is conducted to the highest clinical and ethical standards, fully aligned with UK national guidelines (NICE) and best practice frameworks from the Accreditation Quality Assurance Service (AQAS).

What’s Included

  • A full diagnostic interview and history-taking

  • Completion and interpretation of standardised ADHD rating scales

  • Identification of ADHD and/or other factors that may affect you

  • A detailed written report you can share with your GP or other professionals

  • Recommendations for next steps — including coaching, workplace adjustments, and (if appropriate) referral for medication

Please note:
I am not a medical doctor and cannot prescribe medication. However, suppose your assessment suggests that medication may be beneficial. In that case, I can refer you to a trusted prescribing psychiatrist or medical professional who can discuss this with you and arrange a prescription if appropriate.
